Cook-set: pots, pans, lids

Camp cook-sets can cover many of your cooking needs in one compact package. They’re relatively inexpensive given all of the items provided. Titanium sets are great for backpacking, but not ideal for car camping since they don't hold heat very well. You'll likely want a pot deep enough for a family sized portion of soup or multiple calls of chili. A pan for eggs or to fry up some veggies or meat. A good lid is important to keep food hot and keep bugs out. Many come with utensils and plates, but they generally aren’t very durable or practical. Swap out the utensils with some regular metal ones and bring some paper plates that can be tossed in the fire.
